Administrative Service
The Administrative Service of Student Services is responsible to co-ordinate the efforts of different services under its governance and to facilitate the setup of various strategies established by the Office of the Associate Vice-President of Student Services.
Community Life Service
Whether you live on campus, just up the street or across the river, Community Life Service invites you to experience all that the University of Ottawa has to offer. There are many different ways for you to participate in something fun and unique. Whatever your interests, there are a multitude of socio-cultural activities and events here for you.
Convention Services
Thanks to a complete array of facilities and services, you can plan your event right here on campus. Whether a conference or a colloquium, a reception or a training session, professional advisors will help you make it a success. The Convention Services team can help you plan your event, reserve facilities and equipment, arrange accommodations and provide catering and bar services.
Food Services
When we travel, we experience countries in large part through their traditional dishes. A university can feel a bit like a small country, and the way we experience our new “home” can be greatly enriched by the food choices we’re offered during our stay. uOttawa Food Services has created “destinations” rather than “locations” across campus because they want to bring you greater variety. They offer a choice of four meal plans that can be used at one of their 23 destinations on campus.
Housing Services
University isn't just about classrooms, textbooks, homework and exams. One of the most memorable experiences of university life will be the time you spent living in residence. Whether you are interested in one of the seven residences located on campus or looking for off-campus housing, Housing Services will help you with your accommodation needs.
Procurement Services
Procurement Services is responsible for the supply chain and is the University’s official representative in any commercial transactions. Procurement Services oversees the purchasing process and manages calls for tender according to best practices. They are also responsible for all aspects of supply contracts.
Sports Services
At the University of Ottawa, everybody is a Gee-Gee. It’s not just about sheer athletic talent—it has to do with showing spirit. There are many ways to show your Gee-Gee pride. Join a varsity or competitive team, be a faithful fan and cheer at our games or participate in an intramural sport, come for a swim or get active in one of our fitness classes! We look forward to meeting you, both on and off the field.
